FASCIAL MOVEMENT TAPING day 1
(FMT1)
This 1 day workshop is a perfect introduction to our taping theory
and methods. Based on previous feedback we know it is suitable for both novice
and experienced tapers. The course is aimed at Physiotherapists, Osteopaths,
Chiropractors, Sports and Massage Therapists, and Personal Trainer’s. If your
profession has not been mentioned please contact us to discuss the course
suitability. FMT1 aims to teach you lots of taping techniques and the concepts
on which they are based. This will equip you with the skills and understanding
to effectively apply ROCKTAPE to virtually any problem within the
musculoskeletal system.
FMT1 - THEORY
- How tape works
- Summary of research evidence
- Myofascial Anatomy update, including an
introduction to anatomy trains.
PRACTICAL
How to cut, handle and stick
tape.
Postural and movement analysis techniques.
Regional Optimisation Taping: To
reduce pain and improve function.
Postural Control Taping: To correct/improve postural dysfunctions in the trunk and
limbs.
Oedema Control Taping: To enhance natural drainage of both acute and chronic
swelling.
POWERTAPING: Reduce pain and enhance performance by optimizing myofascial slings
and anatomy trains.
